Supernatural Season 3

I praise the lord that the writer's strike is OVER because i get to see these 2 handsome men :). I have to admit i am an american series addict. A more selective addict to be precise. I don't watch everything only things that appeal to my interest. Like these 2 guys. Of course. Who was watching it for anything else? *cough*. Ok, so besides the 2 good looking guys, the series does pique my interest. I like supernatural stuff so it was keeps me interested. And besides.. i scream for no reason even though i know something creepy is going to happen. Dad shakes his head in disbelief ... when i watch everything behind a pillow...

*sigh* back to the TV.. Toodles! Will be posting Wednesday... :)

Ghost Whisperer.

Okee- non food review... i am addicted to American Series, besides the Japanese series. And one of them which i am following pretty much is Ghost Whisperer(Besides, heroes, house, prison break, grey's anatomy) ... Ah.... Is it like the horse whisperer?? Er. No. There are ghosts but no whispering. Sometimes the ghosts comes out pretty loud and clear. On top of it, now is the chinese 7th month ... i think watch it during the day time ok? i scared myself silly one or two times at night. But - it is not as scary as those thai ones.

I started watching Ghost Whisperer out of boredom but then it turned out to be pretty addictive. The reasons being:

• Melinda(JLH) has a fantastic dress sense. Not to mentionm quite a spectacular cleavage. most of my guy friends grab the dvd of me just because of that. muhahaha. Theory: Maybe that is why all the ghosties are showing up at her door step. No?
  
• I like spooky stuff. :) Do you believe in "crossing over"?
  

Cleavage a side, the show does has some serious topics. Melinda is actually a person who "has" the ability to "see dead people" - ( think six sense ) Ghosts to her are people with unfinished business with this life and cannot cross over to the light. She helps them finish this unfinish business- resulting in her or others thinking she is a bit of a whack pot sometimes.

Other times- some ghosts don't want to cross over and decided to stay- working on the "dark" side. Hmm... sounds like another show.

Anyway, each episode sees her trying to help people cross over to the light. However, there is a build up in each episode to the final. There are a group of spirits that are not happy with her helping people cross over. Well, someone is always not happy with what others do.

It's a good watch if you have nothing to do, sometimes it is also pretty sad - especially on areas in which you may feel close to your heart on. So give it a go if you like spooky stuff.

P/S: Anyone watched Discovery's A haunting- about the one in Taiwan... Now that... is scary!

Supernatural Season 2

I spend a lot of time now watching TV if possible, firstly, the series has picked up! Secondly, hmm nothing to do nor. So what does a girl watch when she wants a good pick me up? Supernatural Season 2 of course. Check out the pick.. Girls- Drool. It is now in Season 2, season 1 previously mentioned before.

Frankly, this show has more kick to me than Prison Break. I find myself following the series pretty much like an addict. Dean is the main attraction for me. Besides his obvious good looks, (ahem), the way he protects and take care of his brother and his family, something of a good quality most girls will seek for. Note: He is as poor as hell and can have some really crude table manners. Sam, the younger brother is growing on me. I like the way he is the more rational and logical one of the two.

The series pick off after the car crash, the winchesters are seriously hurt in an accident. The first season opener is entitled "In my time of dying". It's a pretty sad episode, shed some tears in this one. Not to give away spoilers, please watch it yourself. The show is full of humor as well as lot of inhouse jokes you might notice if you follow series like Ghost whisperer etc.

What's griping about Supernatural: I like spooks- spooks follow me most of my life. I also like the fact they deal with issues as families within the same storyline. The jokes are pretty funny as well. I love the episode where Dean thinks that same only goes like "blah, blah, blah, blah" That was so childishly funny.

What's morally confusing in Supernatural: Dean is more of the one what will kill things on sight, while Sam is more the logical one that reasons out a need to kill someone. The fact Dean can do this without blinking sometimes makes Sam wonder if his brother is so used to this, he does it without thinking.

Funniest Episodes: Tall tales- where they met a trickster. The alien slow dance is hilarious
Saddest Episodes: Heart - meet a lycanthrope ( werewolf) both dean and sam cry in this. I cried as well *sobs* and the one called Roadkill- absolutely heart breaking.

I am at the last 2 episodes now, it's so exciting. (Waku waku shimasu) Dont take my word for it, go check it out. Supernatural is showing on AXN NOW- what day, cant remember i get from "supplier" one.

Heroes

Yatta!! That's Hiro Nakamura's cry in Heroes. I started watching this recently after listening to the hype and i must agree this is a great show! :). I have ? above in the names cos i cannot remember everyone's names!

The story starts on the premise that everyone is not the same and that there are people who are special. They can be genetically different or are they engineered? That is one of the questions that floats around this show when some of them discovered a mark on their body. The people in this show have really special powers. Hiro - can play with time, stop it, fast forward it, rewind etc. Nathan Petrelli can fly! This would be a good power to have in Malaysia. Avoid jams by flying. While Peter the brother, can absorb other people's power.

Best is, Claire has super healing powers. I find this totally freaky. Means you literally cannot die. :P. And not all powers are good, there are some that are good people but have bad powers. Am not telling in case I spoil's someone's fun. I find i cannot stop watching this, as it gets more complicated. You start to wonder if they have powers because they are naturally born that way or someone made them that way. And... they are not the only few, along the show, you will find other people having special powers.

Now i am stuck at episode 11, arrgh i need my dose of this .. Heroes i believe is showing on astro... You can alternatively find it on er *** or you can download. Watch it.
