Ok, sometimes we need to eat healthy stuff. Means no fatty pork, no crabs but really healthy stuff. After a few rounds of crab feasting, my parents dragged me ( with a bit of sulking and pouting ) to eat The baker at Ikano power center. Some how or rather i was craving for... noodles. However, they had other thoughts to clear my system :P.

Actually the baker has been there some time and each time i walk past, there is a growing customer based eating happily- their sandwhiches ( by the way, i think this shop is either from norway or sweden - one of those Scandinavian countries )

So i surveyed, the list of sandwich toppings they had were not as intensive as O'briens but it is quite interesting. And you have a variety of breads to go with or choose from. I pick standard rye bread with Dancing mushroom and chicken filling. Parents - had Roast Chicken filling with wholemeal.

Love Handles

While sulking, i mean sitting there to wait for my sandwiches i busied my self in taking pictures. They have this funny shaped door knobs which can be aptly called LOVE HANDLES. No PUN intended.

Sandwiches are made fresh and once ready, they will indicate for you to come and collect. Yes
, they don't deliver to your table. :) You have to get up from your **** and pick up your order. Ok lah not so far lah. Just 2 steps away only.

I like the fact they put a lot of alfafa, cucumbers, onions, lettuces and of course mushrooms in my sandwich. What is interesting is the sauce they put as part of the dressing. It look mustard, smelled like mustard but did not taste 100% mustard. I hate those run of the mill places where they coat just plain out of the jar mustard. But this was not. In fact they made the sandwich quite refreshing. If they open one in Sentral- i is a happy kitteh.

Some gripes i have:
1) It's better if they warmed the sando-wichi a bit. I like warm food but if they popped in the microwave for 10 shakes it would taste even better.
2) Hmm it is a bit small though. i was hungry by 3pm ( had this at 12-ish ) so not a good idea if you are looking for something heavy. Bet if lil bro was here that day he needed 2 plates of this.
3) Very little or quite expensive drinks to choose from.
